Tate Britain is an art gallery housed in the Tate’s original premises on the site of Millbank Prison in London, and part of the Tate gallery network in Britain, with Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives. Tate Britain includes the Clore Gallery, designed by James Stirling, which presents major paintings by Joseph Mallord William Turner, whose style have laid the foundation for Impressionism. Entry is free everyday. Open until 22.00 on the first Friday of each month for “Late at Tate Britain”. Easy and free parking on Sundays.
