Mons, a small town in Hainaut, Belgium, was designated European Capital of Culture in 2015, she will share with Pilsen, Czech Republic.
Mons offers a new station and not less than 300 projects, 5000 five new artists and museums.
The highlights ?
– January 24: big opening party.
– From January 25 to May 17: Van Gogh exhibition.
– From January 24 to April 12: Mons Superstar (new technologies).
– December 6: Arne Quinze, Flemish artist of 43 years, will build a forest of wooden boards, it will 90 meters long and 18 high, between the Church of St. Elisabeth and Losseau House.
