A wax museum in London, on the corner of Allsop Place and Marylebone Road, set up by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud. A major tourist attraction in London, incorporating (until recently) the London Planetarium in its west wing. The oldest figure on display is that of Madame du Barry (the last Maîtresse-en-titre of Louis XV of France and one of the victims of the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution).
